the spacious and modern villa had a lovely bathroom with a hot shower and an open roof to prevent steaming up. the well-equipped kitchen, including a food blender, allowed us to enjoy fresh fruit drinks. the beautiful garden was a peaceful retreat, with fireflies at night and a refreshing pool for the whole family.
The weak water pressure in the bathroom was a minor inconvenience.

The room at Villa Shade was cozy and comfortable, with a seating area perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. I loved waking up to the beautiful garden views and being able to make tea and coffee whenever I wanted. The free WiFi and 24-hour room service were also great perks for a young traveler like myself.
Personally, I would have preferred if the room had a view of the pool instead of the garden. But hey, that's just my preference and others might still find enjoyment in the peaceful garden setting.

I keep coming back to this place because it has Wi-Fi, parking, a kitchen, and air conditioning. The staff helped me with my bags. It has everything I need for a city trip: massage, water sports, and a kids club. It also has 24-hour reception and no smoking. I have no regrets.

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Shade, our first stop in Sri Lanka. The family rooms were beautifully designed and the attention to detail was evident throughout the property. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the breakfast served in the garden was a delightful experience. Our kids loved the treehouse, fruit and vegetable garden, and the half baseball court. The host was incredibly helpful, providing suggestions for tours and travel tips. Best value for money and truly a little slice of paradise.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The beautiful gardens and serene atmosphere at Villa Shade provided the perfect setting for a relaxing vacation. The decoration of the hotel, with its charming traditional touches, created a warm and cozy ambiance that I truly appreciated. The general areas of the hotel were well-maintained and accessible for senior people like myself, making it easy to navigate and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. It was a delight to sit in the alfresco dining area and savor the delicious food while enjoying the views of the stunning garden. The small swimming pool was a wonderful addition, providing a refreshing retreat during the hot Sri Lankan days.
If I had to ask for one thing to make the vacation even better for senior people, it would be more dining options within walking distance. While the children working there were kind enough to arrange tuktuks for us, it would have been convenient to have a nearby restaurant or food stalls.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, even allowing me to have a late check-out at no extra cost. The rooms were spacious and the pool was lovely. Although there was no restaurant on-site, I was able to order from a range of local take-aways at a very cheap price. I would highly recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, hotel facilities, helpful staff, and convenient location.
Couldn't stay longer.

A Relaxing Oasis
After a tiring flight, I was thrilled to find a perfect stopover near the airport. The rooms at Villa Shade were comfortable and the garden was simply beautiful. I spent my days lounging by the great swimming pool and enjoying activities like badminton and basketball. The breakfast was definitely a highlight, with the sambal being out of this world! The value for money was excellent and I wish I could have stayed a few more nights with my family. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and convenient stay.

I chose this hotel for attending a congress because it provides event facilities at this villa, including a conference center and meeting room. The facilities were well-equipped and spacious, allowing for a smooth and successful event. The staff was also very accommodating and helpful throughout the process, ensuring that everything ran smoothly.
The only service I missed for my work was a dedicated business center with printing and copying facilities. Although the staff was helpful in assisting with any document needs, having a dedicated business center would have made it more convenient for me to handle any last-minute printing or copying requirements.

Amazing hospitality from the staff, they were so helpful and friendly. The room was stunning, clean, and spacious with a beautiful view. The breakfast served in the garden was delicious. The location was perfect, not too far from the city and a nice place to relax and unwind. The swimming pool was a great addition and we really enjoyed it.
The location was a bit far from the beach and restaurants, but the tuk-tuk arranged by the hotel was reasonably priced. You had to pay extra for air conditioning in the room.

I chose this hotel for attending a colloquium because it provided event facilities including a conference center and a meeting room. The facilities were well-equipped and conducive for a professional gathering, allowing us to have a successful and productive event.
One service that I missed for my work was a dedicated business center or workspace. Having access to a quiet and private area where I could work and handle important tasks would have been beneficial during my stay.
